Pinkies Up, Clouds Out: The NJCCC’s 2nd Annual High Tea
There is networking, and then there is High Tea for the Ladies in Cannabis.
This wasn’t your average corporate mixer. Held in the heart of Hoboken with the sweeping Manhattan skyline as its backdrop, the New Jersey Cannabis Chamber of Commerce (NJCCC) hosted its 2nd Annual High Tea—an afternoon where sophistication met advocacy, and “tea time” took on a much more elevated meaning.
My Headshot Guy was on the scene to capture the energy, the elegance, and the community of women (and allies!) who are currently shaping the Garden State’s cannabis landscape.
The Vibe: High-End Hoboken

Stepping into the venue, the atmosphere was a perfect blend of “Bridgerton” chic and modern industry hustle. Floral arrangements and lace gloves met branded banners from industry leaders like Valley Bank, Green Thumb, and Garden Greens.
The views were nothing short of iconic. From the outdoor terrace, attendees enjoyed 180-degree views of the Hudson River and the Empire State Building—the perfect spot for a mid-afternoon smoke break or a celebratory glass of bubbly.
The Spread: Not Your Grandma’s Tea Party
The NJCCC and their sponsors didn’t miss a beat when it came to the refreshments. The catering featured a stunning spread designed for grazing:

What makes this event a staple for the NJCCC is the sheer power of the networking. Our lenses caught endless smiles, deep belly laughs, and genuine embraces. In an industry that is growing as fast as New Jersey’s, these moments of face-to-face connection are where the real “business of cannabis” happens.
Whether it was women in floral blazers discussing policy over tea or entrepreneurs sharing a joint while looking out over NYC, the event proved that you can be professional, powerful, and still have a lot of fun.
